Yes, that's it exactly. It really is the moral equivalent of a zero-point disadvantage: It's a feature that lets you treat various, mostly mundane advantages as abilities of powers.

"Crafting Imbuements" alone are worth the price of admission on this issue: A+ fantastic work there. I'm curious about what's "under the hood" for the new Blessed (Inspired Creation): the first ability seems (mostly) to be "+4 to skill [24]", but I can't figure out what goes into the other two. Super Luck / Altered Time Rate?

"Götterdämmerung" is a really nifty looking setting that reminds me of the really old TORG RPG, which featured a similar 'alternate earths collide' theme; I don't know if I'll get a chance to use it, but it's definitely a fun read.

"Dungeon Fantasy Goes To War" is almost certainly going to see some significant use in the current 'Dungeon Fantasy, plus Mass Combat' game I'm involved in.

I have to say that overall the last three Pyramid mags have all left me super impressed, containing either 'stuff that's useful in a game I'm playing now' or 'stuff I'd really like to use'. Fantastic stuff!

It was really quite cool. The only thing that would have made it better, to my mind, would have been an example character, even if only in sketch form, to illustrate each of the submerged realities and/or Power Modifiers.

What a good idea! Maybe I can work on that here.

The Imbuement piece had a useful sub-system for producing exceptional items in a setting that didn't not use standard Magic without immersion disrupting details such "as write it up as a Gadget and pay CP.". It gave me the feel of something done within the setting by real people living there and that's what I want.
That was part of the idea. I don't like stopping a game to play the mini-game of "What did I make" - I like doing that during the intermission between game sessions.

That said. I'm glad you liked it.m

Yup basically Super Luck and Altered Time Rate.

.
Sure, but it's still "What did my character do?" and not just the players doing accounting work about cp.

True true. It gives a kind of metric for "How actually hard was this?"

So, with Dungeon Fantasy Goes to War expanding the concept of Dungeon Fantasy into Warhammer-esque territories, does this open up the field for Dungeon Fantasy expanding into other concepts?

Such as? Pyramid has always been the venue for experiments, alternatives, and things that wouldn't necessarily move into the mainstream (though some of them do), so that door has always been open.

Hammer 'em out and then when they're done, we can host them on one of the GURPS blogs so they can get featured and called out for GURPSDay
