What amazing timing. I was just about (within the next hour) going to start working on characters for a dungeon crawl. Looks like this will make that less complicated.

Just Ran through it quickly....very nice. I especially like the equipment...not quite low tech but good for now. Thanks Sean looks really good. Were you play testing some of this in the high power fantasy hame you ran?

I think it is probably the former, but I kind of hope I'm wrong, because a pdf/pod release means this product can't do one of the greatest things it could have done with a proper FLGS release - introduce hordes of disillusioned "Other Game"rs to GURPS with the genre they know and love.

If it is Dungeon Crawl, I seriously hope they'll eventually do a normal print run that can be distributed to FLGS so it'll be seen by people that aren't already buying every GURPS book as soon as possible.
I argee with you here..but sadly...it hasn't turned out that way

I already have a supplement request - a pdf with the templates in a 'Character Sheet' format, so you can print it out, circle your choices, and start gaming right away =-)

But if it is made in more volumes, perhaps they can be released with Printed On Demand technology or compiled in a single hardcover for FLGS.

What do you think?

First impression: We need more books like this. This is really something you can sit down with and just play. I can think of quite a few more genres that could use something like this: Modern Horror, ferex. This takes the huge possibilities of GURPS and whittles it down to something very manegable. I think Paul was correct to be excited about it.

The important part is the FLGS, it doesn't matter what kind of printing it is. I mentioned a normal print run because, so far as I'm aware, SJG doesn't sell PODs anywhere except W23, which is great for existing GURPS players but not as great for everybody else.
