Thank you for the feedback. Sometimes I worry that I'm just giving people something to laugh at.

I very much enjoy reading the story episodes.

Aside from a few minor typos I have not read anything which is laughable.
Story is interesting, set in a game world we all know and love.
A lot of professional writers have no 'feel' for the subject/genre and their writing has no life. Yours is obviously a labor of love.

Part 35 is going up now. It is a bigger part, a little over 1,500 words but I wanted to end chapter 5 on a specific note.

Chapter 6 - Into the Claws of the Toadmen

Toadmen,

Fejevar – small humanoid “toad men”- they will eat other humanoids (they are not bullywugs)

The toadmen use the stats of Prootwaddles, but are cunning, vicious, and flesh eating aquatic humanoids. They are not brave, but will attack if they have more of them then their opponents. They are usually lead by one of their own kind who has happened to live long enough to gain an IQ of 8, and a ST of 12. They often wear armor made from large aquatic shellfish, which stops 2 hits. Their weapons are never made of metal, being made from driftwood, bone, teeth, and shell fragments, doing 1d-1 damage. They do not use missile weapons.

Anyway - if you have Kindle Unlimited, one of my short novels is now free on that service. "The World of Hamth, The Practical Fighter" - by D.H. Austin

go check it out if you think it is worth it. It is a sequel, but should read alright by itself. It isn't good, being the first draft of a NaNoWriMo book I wrote in 23 days.

Great experience at the vFnordCon - I hope there will be a part ready to go up tomorrow

Edit - also I received some feedback that I should not clutter up the story with my comments about how I should not be cluttering up the forums, so, as long as no one is complaining I am going to stop doing that in the story thread, and I deleted some post I made where I was criticizing myself, another thing I need to learn to not do.

Any feedback is welcome here.

Great job on the story Terquem! I really enjoy it, and can't wait to add Toadmen to my arsenal of monsters!

I found I didn't like that last piece at all and I deleted it - I am going to try to go in a different direction
