All out modifier and extra attack
So I have characters that have extra attacks and innate attacks with the all out modifier, can I make 2 innate attacks or only 1 innate attack and other 1 attack or just 1 innate attack?

Re: All out modifier and extra attack
Only one of your attacks can be All Out per turn. Otherwise, it's all good.

Re: All out modifier and extra attack
A character may attack 1 + Extra Attacks times when using an appropriate maneuver. He gains one additional attack if the maneuver is AOA(Double). He may attack only once with each weapon. However, he may additionally convert one and only one attack to a Rapid Strike to gain one more attack with that weapon, or may have Multistrike for any Extra Attacks to allow the extra attack(s) to be executed with a weapon that has already attacked.

Ok but howabout the innate attack with the all-out limitation?

Re: All out modifier and extra attack
Innate attacks are, for purposes of the above, weapons.

Re: All out modifier and extra attack
As written (Powers 110), that limitation just means you have to use the All-Out Attack maneuver to use your ability. It doesn't change what All-Out Attack does. It changes the ability from requiring a Ready or Concentrate or Attack to activate to requiring All-Out Attack. You'd still be able to do other things, including Extra Attacks, as normal for the All-Out Attack maneuver.
So the limitation is not entirely negative. You lose your active defense and have limited move. But Ready wouldn't let you use those Extra Attacks, so you get something in that respect. Perhaps that's why it's only -25%. |

Re: All out modifier and extra attack
Okay then, so you can make 2 innate attacks if it have the allout limitations. But the attacks all have to be the innate attack right?

Re: All out modifier and extra attack
An Innate Attack, for this purpose, is simply a ranged weapon.
If you have 3 Extra Attacks and AoA you could make any combination of attacks with your weapons, granted they're ready, have ammo and can shoot/hit on that turn, for example: - 2 sword slash, 2 shots with gun (if it can fire twice in the round), eyebeam lightning (Innate Attack); - 5 sword slashes; - 5 shots with gun (if it can fire 5x in the round); - 3 shots with gun(if it can fire as much), 2 eyebeams (Innate attack); - 5 eyebeams (Innate Attack); . . . So, unless you take some type of limitation on your Innate Attack, you can use it as much as you can attack on your turn. |
