Default Dying curse card and bad stuff

This question concerns the Curse! Dying curse card which states that the player must take the bad stuff of the topmost monster and the Gummi Golem card which has the bad stuff that says the player must help in combat and has to lose a combat to lose the bad stuff. The question is, is this curse attached to the gummi golem card? Meaning, could someone use a cancel cursing card/wishing ring at anytime to get rid of this bad stuff or is the bad stuff now considered separate from the curse?

You would have to cancel that curse at the moment it took effect. The effect is to make you suffer the Bad Stuff, but once you have suffered it (even if it hasn't triggered yet), the Curse itself is expended.

But if the bad stuff is not a one shot thing (the one I had used in the original post says it can only go away if the player loses a combat) could you use a wishing ring to lift the curse which would also get rid of the bad stuff or is the only way to get rid of it by losing a combat?
