Default Owning multiple copies of a PDF

As a result of the latest DFRPG Kickstarter, I'll own multiple copies of some PDFs.
Is that shown or tracked anywhere? If not, can I gift the duplicates without it being a big hassle for W23 staff?

Not that expect the PDF 1 print enforcement division to show up at my door.

I’ve been thinking the same question...

and the request to be able to transfer or gift the duplicate pdf to another Warehouse23 account, but i can well imagine it’s a hassle.

For what it's worth, I've been wondering something similar. I'd like to buy extra copies of some pdfs that I already own to give to my brothers. I could give gift certificates, yes, but giving the actual pdf just feels more like a gift.

My understanding is that if you own a PDF and you receive a copy as part of some other product (say supporting a Kickstarter) you still only own one copy of the product.

I think its partially assumed in the Kickstarter levels that some people who get it will own some of the products already so aren't losing them the sale.

I don't know if there is an official answer but since they don't have a gifting mechanism at all I can't imagine a way they could administrate this especially since there are probably hundreds of these situations.

I'm OK with this limitation. I want GURPS to succeed and its admittedly a small RPG system. Honestly if I got them I would probably use products to try to convince another player to try the system as GM.

That's my take this as well. Gifting would be really neat, but since it's been a desideratum since the days of e23 it's probably proven too hard to implement.
