Default Florida Helicopter(s)

So, I'm thinking about what helicopter or helicopters they'd have for the Florida team.

I'm thinking a late TL7 model, type-certified in the US, suitable for a legitimate helicopter rental company. Absolute minimum range, 150 miles (Key West to Fort Lauderdale), ideal range 350+ miles (Gainesville to Key West in one leg).

Most use cases would be four people or less, plus the pilot, but there's some extra utility to be had if it could, in extremis, carry a two men crew, two experts and six Night Riders with full gear.

My go-to for something like that would be the Bell 222. It's the helicopter that served as the basis for Airwolf. Which was turned into an SAR helicopter after the series (and then crashed--sad story).

That actually sounds perfectly suitable, especially if you can carry a little extra fuel in place of some of the theoretical maximum load of passengers and fly maybe 5-6 people from Gainesville to Key West in a single leg.

Would using the actual Airwolf one help with magic since it is iconic?

Obviously, but it crashed in Germany.

But, wait! The actual Redwolf might not have crashed...

For Kessler's people, she'll fly a modified Bell 212, which is a more primitive version of what she flew in the service.
Many Canadian military helicopter pilots go on to pilot Search and Rescue or Medical Evacuation helicopters when they leave the Service. Some of those helicopters are better than what they flew in the CAF.

They also still use night vision gear.
And our local cops:

As a related aside, both our STARS and HAWCS programs have recently replaced their helicopters and sold off the previous models. If a PC was in the market for a pretty sweet ride they could get one relatively cheap.
