Presto was the "magic-user" from the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon, with a magic hat which he could use to conjure anything he wanted (usually stuff like rope, non-mystical weapons, etc.) by chanting horrible rhymes ... and early on he had a tendency to backfire.

Re: Game: Guess the character!
This thread has been quiescent for a while, so I'll throw another character into the mix. Maybe I'm making the person too obvious, but that might get things moving. :)
Normal stats, but IQ 12 -- both bright and personable. Advantages Claim to Hospitality (mostly local taverns) Charisma +1 Precognition (Minor gossip and local news) Serendipity (Only to avoid significant harm) Wealthy Disadvantages Compulsive Generosity Enemy (Well-meaning relative) Minor Delusion Sense of Duty (Relative) Truthfulness Quirks Old-fashioned manners, including full introductions with a calling card. Flirtatious (but politely so) Skills Area Knowledge (local community) Artist (in some interpretations) Carousing

Re: Game: Guess the character!
OK, first day's hint before I make an early night of it: This is a character who has been both on stage and in the movies.

Re: Game: Guess the character!
Next clue (if anyone is still playing): If the Delusion is true, both Serendipity and Precognition can be replaced with a powerful Ally.
