Combat die roll clarification

In a combat where there are multiple munchkins and/or monsters involved is there 1 die roll per combatant? (assuming no other penalties etc)

So if a munchkin was fighting a mob of 3 monsters would the monsters each get to roll a dice to add to the final score (so effectively 3 dice + combined levels)?

If that is what the monster dice pool says. Some give two dice for the combat. So yes, they are cumulative.
