Default DF teaching

some DF jobs have teaching as secondary or background skill, i looked in DF2, DF1, DF3... Nothing about the best use for this skill in DF.
Should i use the same way BS says? (a PC with 12 on it can teach skills to other players?), so then don't need to pay someone else?
Or maybe is another way to earn money?

DFRPG allows use of the Teaching skill to justify off-template skill buys for your teammates - the Wizard teaching Thaumatology to the Knight or the Cleric teaching the Scout how to perform Surgery. I'd suggest the same for DF.

I'd also let it be used for scoring extra cash, at $10/MoS (part-time tutoring doesn't really pay the bills).

MoS?
So basically is a way to learn something without need to go to town AND pay for it?

Margin of Success. For example, you have Teaching-13, and roll to see how much you make in a week's tutoring. You roll a 9, your Margin of Success is 4 (it is treated as 1 if you succeed exactly), so you earned $40 in that week.

DF uses standard GURPS rules and is different than DFRPG which uses streamlined rules and a few minor alterations.
So use the Basic Set or if you want additional detail and options pick up GURPS Social Engineering: Back to School.

So a successful Teaching roll allows the time spent on it to count towards the other PC being taught if using the time spent learning rules.
I personally just handwave it in a DF setting and say a few weeks of part time study is good enough the character can spend points to learn the skill.
