I didn't realize that the $15 off shipping in the stretch goals meant "We're going to spend $15 less on shipping."

It didn't. We ended up spending MORE on shipping than we had anticipated (and you'll notice we stopped offering that particular stretch goal). I can't speak to why your package has stalled, but it doesn't have anything to do with the money we spent. It's possible the carrier is waiting for a full load to head to your location to minimize their costs.

I don't with to pile on, but as someone who has just been informed that a physical reward I thought I'd ordered in JANUARY had not yet arrived to one of my backers/contributors . . . this sort of thing is, if not personal, deeply concerning. If I know the folks at SJG at all . . . that sort of jibe when out of the "wink and nod" context of personal communication can rankle, because they *deeply* want you to be happy with the work they've poured into the project.

Venting at the company responsible for having your set sit idle for four days? Lock and frickin' load. Venting at SJG because Opportunity Attack? Less fun.

As you say: you were being a smart-ass for fun, but a nod to acknowledging where the fault lies would not go amiss.
