Default Power fueled by disadvantage control rating

After listening to a thumbnail description of Vampire: the Masquerade 5e's Hunger mechanic, i was wondering if there's a way to do something similar in GURPS. My initial thought is to have a power where activation either modifies the control roll target number of a disadvantage, or triggers a control roll. Any thoughts?

In the past I have used Temporary Disadvantage to do this. If it instantly requires a self-control roll it's worth -5% in addition to the other. So you might have: Extra ST without HP +5 (Temporary Disadvantage, Triggers Bloodlust, -5%) [38]

Aftermath from Biotech page 215 sounds close... but that just gives you the temp disadvantage for a number of minutes afterwards, so its not quite what you want.

For lowering the control number you could use temporary disadvantage priced for the difference between the cost of the advantage with the higher number and the lower number. For example:

Uncontrollable Appetite (CR 12) [-15]
Extra Strength 2 (temporary disadvantage uncontrollable appetite CR 6 -15%) [17]

The above might even be RAW.

Aftermath could totally work too. :-)

Seems RAW to me.
I like this, other forms of Temp Disad and either Backlash or Aftermath as limitations plus powered by Energy Reserve for this kind of thing.
Corruption for some longer term effects.

Temporary disadvantage (either new, or as an increase in an existing disadvantage) seems entirely valid and legal.

Another limitation - "Only When Berserk" is in GURPS Power-Ups 8: Limitations (p. 16) and could be used as a model: Maybe -10% for most advantages with a self-control roll or -20% for stuff that is as bad as Berserk.
