Help Me Out Here! - Card
Following situation: Player A is a lvl 7 warrior and is fighting the Shrieking Geek.
In this situation he cannot win the fight, so Player A plays "Help Me Out Here!" card to take an item and win the fight. Now to my question: Is player A allowed to play "Help Me Out Here!" since he can discard the warrior class and win the fight without use of "Help Me Out Here!". |

Re: Help Me Out Here! - Card
Just because an action may allow the player to win without help me out here does not mean the player must take that action instead. Help me out here says it can be used as long as the item taken makes the difference between winning and losing at the moment it is played. It does not stipulate that it can only be used if there is no other possible way to win the fight.
Summary: yes it could still be played in the situation you described. |

Re: Help Me Out Here! - Card
Mathgeni is correct. Just because you could do something else to win doesn't mean you have to. As Help Me Out Here! only requires that the player be losing at the time he plays it, without any other stipulations, Player A was well within his rights to play it, even with other options available.
