The Game's afoot - at e23
Up for playtest is Asmodeus, Djinn Prince of the Game. Those who desire to be in on the playtest must:
EMAIL me (do not private message me here!), arcangel yat thiswordinsertedtoanoyspamspiders io dot com, with [ASMODEUS] in the Subject, and five pieces of information in the text: * Pyramid username (see e23.sjgames.com for Pyramid subscribing) * e23 username (if it's different from the Pyramid one) * The email address you wish to be subscribed * The name you wish to be used for playtest credit, if any * And finally, a brief explanation of why you should be on the list. I would also like to know which of the following you prefer to read the playtest documents in: HTML Word documents RTF Plain text More than one of the above (Prior playtests have offered HTML and Word as full documents, and RTF or plain text divided into chapters. Since I convert "by hand," I want to know what will be necessary.) The Line Editor reserves the right to refuse playtest access at her evil, sadistic whim. (Though she usually has a reason for it, and hopes that it will not be necessary, she may not explain why and leave you to wonder forever, unto eternity.) Failing to follow the instructions will attract the evil sadism. The call for playtesters will last till next Wednesday, February 1.

I don't mean to be annoying, but is there any news on this?

Re: The Game's afoot - at e23
Technical Difficulties (primarily due to the post office, near as we can tell) have delayed some important paperwork. (Also, Seasong is but one minion, and has been doing a lot of work; while I gave him a lot (possibly too many) of art suggestions, I believe he's still the one laying it out. If I'm wrong, and it's on Production's head, well... See that Munchkin Cthulhu entry in the Daily Illuminator? I bet I know what Production's been doing.)
At least, that's what I've heard. There's another bottleneck that it may or may not have passed yet as well, which would be SJ reading it to make sure that the editing pass was sufficient.

Hate to be annoying, Beth, but since "Superiors: Asmodeus" has long since been playtested, edited and put into e-production, shouldn't this thread be un-stickied?
(Of course, if you want to replace it with an announcement for the *next* Superior, that would be OK ... <wink>) EDIT: And it looks like now it has been. Thanks!
