So far I'm leaning towards these by Iron Wind for one side: MGEV http://ironwindmetals.com/store/prod...oducts_id=2923 HGEV http://ironwindmetals.com/store/prod...oducts_id=4126 and these from Brigade for the other: MGEV http://www.brigademodels.co.uk/6mmSF...SF300-108.html or http://www.brigademodels.co.uk/6mmSF...F300-710a.html HGEV http://www.brigademodels.co.uk/6mmSF...F300-101a.html or http://www.brigademodels.co.uk/6mmSF...SF300-707.html D.

Re: Trucks, in Ogre
Hey Drew, as of just this morning, C-in-C updated their website, and they now have three sizes of each of their hovertanks.
[Edited, three sizes, not two.] Last edited by Mack_JB; 12-22-2017 at 09:47 AM. |

For the NAC...I haven't found anything that really has that F-Zero / "World's Fair imagines the Land Speed Record Streamliner of The Future" look to it the way the Gremlin and Raptor do. Brigade's PacFed faction captures the imagination...I'm left wondering if it wouldn't make decent Nihon proxies. Granted, my knowledge of the faction, its philosophy, its tech related to the other factions, etc is really limited, so I could be off by miles and not even know it.

Re: Trucks, in Ogre
The only trouble I can see with Brigade Models is they have a lot more grav tanks / hovercraft and wheeled vehicles, than true tracked tanks. I'm partial to the German designs, myself.

Re: Trucks, in Ogre
For the HGEV, carve the single barrel off the metal mini, and replace it with two pieces of wire or styrene rod, one mounted on either side of the turret.
For the MGEV, I have looked at merely gluing the missile rack from a plastic MSL tank onto the top of a stock GEV, perhaps only cutting the round mounting pad off the rack, or shortening the overall height of the rack as well. Last edited by Mack_JB; 12-22-2017 at 11:19 AM. |

Re: Trucks, in Ogre
I haven't bought from them yet, but have been eyeing them, especially for several of the buildings. If you do get something from them, be sure to report on the quality, service, etc.
