The clues so far clearly point toward either GURPS Dungeon Crawl or something completely out of nowhere.

I think it is probably the former, but I kind of hope I'm wrong, because a pdf/pod release means this product can't do one of the greatest things it could have done with a proper FLGS release - introduce hordes of disillusioned "Other Game"rs to GURPS with the genre they know and love.

If it is Dungeon Crawl, I seriously hope they'll eventually do a normal print run that can be distributed to FLGS so it'll be seen by people that aren't already buying every GURPS book as soon as possible.

I think (too) it can be something related to Dungeon Crawl, perhaps as a specific extension to 4e Fantasy (yes, DCrawl can be done even with Basic Set), in the way Spaceships and such are "sourcebooks of sourcebooks" as Space, Ultra-Tech...

I have no other hint for make my mind about this.

Edit: I have it! "Pushing the envelope"... Clearly it has to be GURPS Anime!
Joking ;-)

I guess they are choosing the last ones from this very thread!

Mark my words. No matter what it'll be, a bunch of people will be disappointed.

And . . . it's online.

Steve Jackson Games is happy to release, as the last PDF of 2007:

Dungeon Fantasy: Adventurers by Sean Punch.

It's the nature of these things. You put a big, promising blank up, and people fill it in with their own wishes. They've been pretty good at telling us what it's not, so I don't think too many people have any real expectations, and it should be fun regardless... but yeah.

Also: it's 2 pm now. And YAY.

It IS Dungeon Fantasy ^_^

I can understand the PDF release, now. I still think it needs to make it to the FLGS once the whole thing is done (with excessive examples to fill it out, if neccessary), though

=-)
