Re: [DF] New DF game, seeking modules to convert
I think Red Hand of Doom would be a good fit. It's levels 6-10 so it fits DF's power level pretty well.

Re: [DF] New DF game, seeking modules to convert
I think that Goodman Games' Dungeon Crawl Classics adventures fit DF pretty well. Here's a pretty good set of reviews of the first 50-some, which should be enough to keep anyone busy:
https://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php...stle-Whiterock The only ones I've personally converted to DF are Sinister Secret of Whiterock and about the first half of Castle Whiterock. Both worked fine. (I plan to run them again online when DFRPG ships.) As corwyn mentioned, DF characters are at a power level sort of like mid-level D&D characters. So adventures aimed at low-level D&D characters might be too easy, and those aimed at high-level characters might be too hard. You can deal with this by making the opposition easier or harder when converting, or giving the PCs more or fewer points, or just not bother. Last edited by dripton; 08-01-2017 at 09:27 PM. By the time they've worked up to higher level modules, the Characters will have more abilities and better equipment (hopefully) and the Players will no longer be fresh meat, but instead experienced. If your Players are old hands at GURPS, then by all means, pile on some more trouble, or just skip to the mid level right off the bat. Or just don't bother and let the Big Damn Heroes breeze through the lower level stuff like Big Damn Heroes should. |
