Munchkinomicon discards.

Ok so the Munchkinomicon adds a discard pile. Do cards and and abilities that allow you to take a card from "either discard pile" or "the discards" allow you to take spells?

There is no Fairy Dust discard pile. The FD rules state that all cards are out of the game once played.

Short answer: cards that refer to "both" discard piles mean Doors or Treasures only. Cards that refer to "either" discard pile or "any" discard pile can include Spell discards. FD discards, as already stated, are out of the game and don't get revived.
