Large Melee/Wizard board for minis
I've been using my HeroScape miniatures for games of Melee and Wizard, with the modular hex tiles from that game serving as terrain. However, the time setting up and breaking down the tiles prompted me to construct a large board from a big piece of styrofoam.
I was able to fit both maps onto the board, and you can see photos of the finished project in this blog post. Anyone else constructing their own game boards, or do y'all just go with the cardboard hexes and paper maps?

Hi.
I use the paper maps and put a sheet of plexiglass over it. This allows using dry erase markers. Plexiglass sheet from HomeDepot is cheap, pick your size. |

BTW your minitures and boards look great. If I had that, I would definitely use it instead. :-)
