Re: question about cetrum beta
They'd probably think the war is still an inevitable conclusion to their timelines actions and place it's conversion on the top priority list.

Re: Question about Centrum
Well, it would be an "ordinary" parallel world, not an echo or anything else special. They'd study it in great detail, but they'd be unlikely to reach any conclusion that didn't conform to their existing political ideas, at least publically.

Re: question about cetrum beta
A Centrum Beta would be an interesting place for Interworld and Centrum to have conflicts.

That's pretty much what's described on p120 of Infinite Worlds. Infinity is trying to gather as much information as possible before Centrum moves the world to a higher quantum; Centrum is playing defence, and isn't used to that.

Re: question about cetrum beta
Centrum isn't cartoonishly evil in most games. They won't commit global genocide on a whim.

....but has been known ti nuke major cities. They claim that was a mistake and all the people involved have been sanctioned but they did do it and it wasn't a rogue operation.

Quote:
Infinity is perfectly willing to kidnap promising scientists, psis, mages, etc. who might develop transworld travel and drop them into Coventry, mess with their reasearch (often causing death), or kill them indiscreetly if nothing else looks like it will work. Perfectly willing to mess with the political setup of a world for nothing more than entertainment. Infinity is already operating in pretty heavy moral grey space that leans, at least in my opinion, more to the black than to the white. If Centrum is unwilling to take drastic measures to prevent another society from gaining crossworld travel, even though that society is also a direct political threat, then they are the good guys and much more noble than infinity So perhaps 'nuke them back into the stone age' is a bit of an exaggeration, but 'take drastic measures to prevent any sort of offworld technologyt from being completed'- and if they aren't willing to go that far, that makes them 'better' than infinity. |
