The reduction of the importance of the Quadrennial Political Party Conventions have also vastly reduced the visibility and effectiveness of the minor party groups.

We do not speak of That timeline.

Interesting idea, not so good execution, in my opinion at least. Even worse now that our knowledge of therapod dinosaur appearance makes such write ups rather dated.

Any more dated than the idea of a small furry mammal evolving into a large, upright, brainy thing with virtually no fur?

We're not really that unusual for near hairless apes.

I apologize for bumping this but what would military doctrine here be like for the A4 powers considering their monopoly on orbital nuclear weapons and nuclear weapons in general?

It's probably launch on warning. This might all be mainly in orbit as you try and blow up your enemies nukes before he blows up yours but with a lack of stealth and maneuverability for your orbital assets you're very much in a "use it now or never" situation.

I wouldn't be all that interested in orbiting my nukes in this situation.

Considering the possibly larger risk of nuclear warfare here, and possibly bigger danger of accidents causing nukes to be launched, would conventional armies be bigger here still?

Cause the nuclear doctrine embraced by Eisenhower in the 1950s was criticized for its inflexibility and I kinda wonder here if the A4 powers may have a similar issue here military-wise?
