Ablative DR and Unhealing (Total), how does it work?

Ablative DR regenerates at the same time HP does, and Total Unhealing means you don't regenerate. Is your DR permanently gone once it's blown off, or is it regenerated when you undergo repairs?

I'd say 'replaced as part of the process of undergoing repairs, unless the shop doesn't have the right ablative armour for you.'
