Official ruling on items
I would like some clarification on this hand/carrying/in use items.
These are the rules as I see it: You can have 5 cards in your hand (6 if you are a dwarf) You may play one-shot items from your hand or that you are carrying during any combat You can only have 1 big item which you are carrying or is in use (so down on the table) A hireling allows you to carry an extra big item, if the hireling is carrying it You can be carrying as many cards as you like, as long as you do not have more than one big item You can only have one headgear, one armor, two hand items, and one footgear card in use Are any of these incorrect?

Re: Official ruling on items
Assuming we don't delve into the intricacies of the Cheat! card or other ways to break the rules you talk about, there are only two corrections I would make:
Quote:
The Hireling gives you a +1 combat bonus by itself and allows you to carry and use any Item, even if you couldn't otherwise (a second Big item, a second suit of Armor, a Class or Race restricted Item, etc.).
