Discrepancies between the Spaceships book and PDF
The numbers in the PDF, as compared to the actual book, are off. Me and a friend of mine noticed this the other night while working on a ship for his campaign. Which takes precedence?

Take a look at the errata page
http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/books/s...s/spaceships1/ Hopefully that will answer your question. If not then post something specific like what is off between them. |

In general, though, the answer is pretty much always the PDF.

Generally unlikely, if it's the current version. Always best to check the official errata, though.

Yeah one of the perks of the PDF version is you can just download the latest version when they apply Errata. For print you have to buy a new printing when and if one comes out. Or just print off a copy of the errata page linked to above.

Of course, there's always the possibility that the pdf was downloaded before some errata was corrected, but the book was printed after. I just wish there was an easy way to check if you had the latest version of the pdf, short of redownloading.

However, GURPS Spaceships is at Version 1.31 – April 2009 Unless they pushed a new version in the last week or so.

Just looked and didnt see a download errata note but my copy is older then that so better grab a new one. One of the few books I have both in PDF and dead tree.
