Default Prone Step?

I haven’t managed to find anything which prevents a Step or Retreat from any particular posture. For example, as far as I can tell, you can Step while prone. Is this correct?

Now, moving while prone costs all Movement points (DFE35), so nothing can move more than 1 hex without some special quality. But if you have Move 11, can you *Step* 2 hexes?

You can't retreat while kneeling (Exploits p 50).

If you have a Move of 11 or more, you can indeed step 2 hexes while lying on your belly. It's a little weird, but it comes up so rarely that I wouldn't worry about it.

Well, by the rules in DFRPG you can. The rules on Campaigns 367 reduce Move and therefore reduce Step (as that's computed from Move, not Basic Move).

I tend to agree. It most likely looks like rolling/somersaulting, not belly-crawling, if that helps with the visuals.

We've run with it being rolling around, hasn't produced totally weird results yet.
