[Gun Fu] When does a Gunslinger get the full Acc Bonus?
Hi guys
I'm using Gun Fu in a highly cinematic game and need a rules clarification. Please bear with me while I list a few circumstances and try to reply to each how much Acc the PC gets. The PC does have the advantage "Gunslinger" as described in Gun Fu 1) PC shoots 1-3 shots with pistol (1 handed weapon) at a single target 2) PC shoots 4+ shots with a machinepistol (1 handed weapon) at a single target 3) PC shoots 1-3 shots with a rifle (2 handed weapon) at a single target 4) PC shoots 4+ shots with a rifle (2 handed weapon) at a single target 5) PC shoots 4+ shots with a rifle (2 handed weapon, min ST 10, PC has ST 20) at a single target Now the PC gets an upgrade an buys Enhanced Tracking (Multiple Lock-Ons) 1 6) PC shoots 3 shots with a pistol (1 handed weapon) at three targets 7) PC shoots 4+ shots with a pistol (1 handed weapon) at three targets 8) PC shoots 3 shots with a rifle (2 handed weapon) at three targets 9) PC shoots 4+ shots with a rifle (2 handed weapon) at three targets 10) PC shoots 4+ shots with a rifle (2 handed weapon, although min ST 10 and PC has ST 20) at three targets Please help me out here cause I'm really confused! Re: [Gun Fu] When does a Gunslinger get the full Acc Bonus?
1) PC shoots 1-3 shots with pistol (1 handed weapon) at a single target
Full Acc, you are not using either autofire or a two handed weapon 2) PC shoots 4+ shots with a machinepistol (1 handed weapon) at a single target Half Acc, because you are using autofire 3) PC shoots 1-3 shots with a rifle (2 handed weapon) at a single target Half Acc, because you are using a two handed weapon 4) PC shoots 4+ shots with a rifle (2 handed weapon) at a single target Half Acc, because you are using either autofire or a two handed weapon. 5) PC shoots 4+ shots with a rifle (2 handed weapon, min ST 10, PC has ST 20) at a single target Half Acc, because you are using either autofire. I assume you mean she uses it one handed. Now the PC gets an upgrade an buys Enhanced Tracking (Multiple Lock-Ons) 1 6) PC shoots 3 shots with a pistol (1 handed weapon) at three targets 7) PC shoots 4+ shots with a pistol (1 handed weapon) at three targets 8) PC shoots 3 shots with a rifle (2 handed weapon) at three targets 9) PC shoots 4+ shots with a rifle (2 handed weapon) at three targets 10) PC shoots 4+ shots with a rifle (2 handed weapon, although min ST 10 and PC has ST 20) at three targets I don't know how this interacts, I think Enhanced Tracking is irrelevant to a Gunslinger who does not take a second to perform an Aim maneuver. Therefore all of the answers would be the same as those for 1-5.

6-10 are not even possible without either using Autofire or buying at least one Extra Attack (with Multi-shot) and using the Quick Shot Technique to get the other two. Enhanced Tracking is largely peripheral to the problem. Gunslingers have a definitely reduced use for the ability.

Enhanced Tracking is irrelevant. That allows you to Aim at more than 1 target and Gunslinger's never need to Aim to get the ACC bonus (or half ACC in those cases) However, how ever many targets the Gunslinger can shoot at he gets the full ACC bonus with a pistol not using autofire or one of the other half ACC cases.

Re: [Gun Fu] When does a Gunslinger get the full Acc Bonus?
Thanks, makes sense.
Just to be a smartass though, AFAIK "Quick-Shot" is a Technique which lets you buy off the Ranged Rapid Strike penalty. The thing you refer to by Quick Shot is actually called Ranged Rapid Strike. Cheers Onkl |
