Customer wishlists for e23?
Please forgive me if this suggestion has been covered in an earlier thread; I made several search attempts, but couldn't find any mention of this thought. That being said:
How about adding customer wishlists to e23? I will often see some interesting-looking supplement mentioned in the Daily Illuminator (like "Hush Hush" today), but I keep to a strict monthly budget for .pdf downloads. I would love to be able to keep track of these whims in a wishlist attached to my e23 account so I can check back every month and see what's most appealing from all of the items that have been previously featured. It works a lot better than scrawling on a Post-It note -- or, more often, just forgetting about it entirely. Thoughts? |

Re: Customer wishlists for e23?
Wishlists are on the list of "things we want to do, once the resources are available." There is no timeline or ETA on when said resources will be available, and thus on when wishlists will be implemented, though -- sorry!

Until this happens you can make a folder in your browser bookmarks/favorites and bookmarks for what you'd like there.

Now it's just an outlet for their own publications, and whatever few third-party products they are asked to sell. There's no ambition, and all feature requests from users are met with a "sorry, we have no programming manpower for anything at all". In order to grow, you guys need to invest. Hire the freakin' manpower, and start launching cool features. You can't ride on the "but we're the good guys, because we don't do DRM"-credibility wave forever. |

I'm sure if you make the donation check out to SJ, he'd be happy to cash it.
