Optimizing PDFs?

I just shaved 15 MB off a rulebook file from WH23 by using the latest Acrobat DC to optimize the file. It loads and searches much faster of course.

Will you offer optimized PDFs for electronic use for customers who don't intend to make printouts?

Automatic optimization is done by downsampling the images in a PDF. I've seen optimized files that look virtually indistinguishable from the original and files where the automatic optimization utterly mangles some of the images in a file. This would require an editor to go through the files page by page to make sure none of the images got mangled.
