Tricky scenario with -5 enhancers and treasure
A tricky scenario happened to us the last time we played. I helped my friend kill a monster who gave us 2 treasures. We agreed to a 1-1 split but a third opponent decided to give it a -5 enhancer, lowering its treasure count to 1. And then the munchkiny argument started about who gets that 1 treasure. I couldn't back out as I was helping him and he insisted on keeping the treasure (he refused to accept only the level (of course he did, he is a Munchkin after all)).
Eventually we agreed that we will roll a die to see who keeps the treasure but the event itself was pretty unusual. We kept on wondering what is supposed to be the rule here. Is the distribution of the lone treasure decided by the player whose turn and combat it is or is it based on agreement? What do you guys think? |

It depends on who agreed to choose first. If it was just "one and one" without a first picker and you absolutely cannot decide, ties go to the helper.
