Create Water spell
My math is...
Heavy rainfall is 2 inches per hour Magic Rainstorm is 100 square feet for one minute Total volume of water (collected from the air) is therefore (10*12)^2 * 2 / 60 = 480 cubic inches or 2 gallons. I.e. 2 fatigue per gallon. This makes it a better option than collecting moisture from the target after a Meal spell.

Re: Create Water spell
It seems to me that Magic Rainstorm is a magic rainstorm that does what its spell description says, but does not necessarily (up to the GM I suppose) create actual lasting water. Rather like other Creation spells create walls, wolves, giants, etc., that vanish after a minute.
Of course, if the GM thinks there should be a Create Water spell, they can add one or have a version of Magic Rainstorm that does create water as you suggest. Personally I'd not do that, and remove Meal and Stalwart, because I like supplies and weather to be relevant circumstances not disappear-able by spells. |
