Re: The Unoffial 2059 Vehicle Guide
Killer Kart Mk III : Subcompact , Imp Suspension , Hvy Chassis , Medium Power Plant , 4 HD Tires , Driver , LMG Front , 64 points Standard Plastic Armor ( F 18 , L 12 , R 12 , B 14 , T 4 , U 4 ) , 2-1pt Hubs Front , 2-1pt Guards Back , HC 3 , Top Speed 127.5 mph , 2,496 lbs , $4,144 .
At $296 more than the orginal Killer Kart , this one has 3 1/2 times more armor ! 'Killed' two of the 'originals' with this design in a game .

Hoplite -- Midsized, X-heavy Chassis, Heavy Suspension, Large Power plant, 4 Solid Tires, Driver only, 2 VMG's (linked, Front) with 20 shots each, Fire Extinguisher, 2sp Component armor (Around driver) x 10 pts, Armor : Metal 12 pts, plastic 155 (F: m:12/p:15, L/R: m:0/p:42, B: m:0/p:38, T: m:0/p:6, U: m:0/p:12). Just a basic soldier. A mid-sized with good firepower front, solid armor, fire protection and good tires. A Division 15 car that can make others work hard to have a chance. Hoplite XX -- as above but remove 3 points armor, and add HRSWC, HD Shocks and upgrade all ammo to Incendiary. $ 19,662, 5756 lbs. |

Div 15 Arena Compact :
Granite B : Compact , X-hvy Chassis , Hvy Suspension , Medium PP + PCs , 4 Solid Tires , Driver , HMG front , HRSWC , 2 linked FcD T+B , 3 linked FoD L+R+U , Link for all Dischargers , HTMs , 10 points Standard Componant Armor around each of Driver and HMG , Sloped Plastic Armor : F 60 , R 50 , L 50 , B 50 , T 10 , U 15 , 2-8pt Hubs Front , 2-8pt Guards Back , HC 3 , Accel 5/10 w/HTMs , Top Speed 90/70 w/HTMs , 4,373lbs , $ 14,581 . This model has bloody good staying power , though it dose lack in firepower . I'm using 300lbs as the loaded weight of the HMG , until I get a definitive official answer on whether it should be 350lbs .

Re: The Unoffial 2056 Vehicle Guide
A Sporty Road Car :
Bugatti Aquila : Streamlined Midsize w/CA Frame , Standard Chassis , Hvy Suspension , Thunder Cat power plant w/SCs & PCs , 4 FP PR Radial Tires , Driver , LMG w/Incendiary ammo Front , HRSWC , Active Suspension , HD Shocks , HT Motors , HD Brakes , Antilock Brakes , HD Shocks , Safety Seat , FP Spoiler and Airdam , Sloped FP Armor : F 18 , R 12 , L 12 , B 17 , T 8 , U 7 , 2-5pt FP Hubs F , 2-5pt FP Guards B , HC 5 - 6 @ 60 mph+ , Accel 15 - 20 w/HTMs , Top Speed 252.5 mph - 232.5 mph w/HTMs - 272.5 mph w/OD , 4,325 lbs , $ 48,490 Bugatti Aquila Maximus : Upgrade Chassis to X-hvy , Add 130pts FP Armor , Top Speed 232.5 mph - 212.5 mph w/HTMs - 252.5 mph w/OD , 5,365 lbs , $ 55,466 Armor placement : F 45 , R 35 , L 35 , B 45 , T 25 , U 20 . After seeing the Bugatti Veyron , I felt I could design a car that was just as fast . Though not really combat vehicle , I thought it'd be fun to share it with everyone . Can do the Veyron's top speed of 252 mph without Overdrive , and can reach 270 mph in 15 seconds . The Up Armored version can still do 252 mph with overdrive engaged ! ;-)

Re: The Unoffial 2056 Vehicle Guide
I don't expect anyone to run out and resume using Aeroduel anytime soon, but this design literally came to me in a dream and I had to draw it up (and share).
Tristan -- Large microplane; microplane propeller with ducted cowlings; three PR cycle tires; super powerplant with superconductors. Pilot with gee suit. Two autocannon linked wing F with 10 high-density shots each; eight hot smoke dischargers (2L,2R,2T,2U), linked in pairs. Dive brakes; heavy lift wings; improved controls; improved tail assembly; two sets maneuver foils; two sets maneuver foil ejectors; retractable landing gear; aircraft radio; hi-res single weapon computer; radar; radar altimeter. 196 points fireproof plastic armor; 20 points fireproof maneuver foil armor; 10 points fireproof propeller armor; 10 points fireproof component armor (pilot). $63,926; 5999 lbs. Accel 10, Top Speed 220, HC 4 (5 at 60+ mph). [Yes, I know the name Tristan has been used before, but that's what the craft was named in my dream. My subconscious is a harsh mistress.] |

On the errata side of things , are you using 100 or 200lbs for the weight of your micro prop ? There has been confusion as the weight jumped from 100lbs for 4DP to 200lbs for 4DP between ADQ 7/1 and Aeroduel/UACFH . As the Airplane prop is 250lbs ( an 2 spaces ) for 10DP , myself and others think the increase was a typo . I'll post a couple of my Microplane designs when I get the time ( tomorrow perhaps ) .

Re: The Unoffial 2056 Vehicle Guide
And sorry again , but Microplans can't mount Auto Cannons ( or ATGs , GCs , RFTGs , HVMGs and certainly not TGs ) in their wings at all . Swap 'em for GG's with mags or VMGs with explosive ammo perhaps ?
