I believe you're referencing expansion 7 Off Road Dueling and I believe you are correct that it was the only official off road arena over the years...

SPARK also has The Gladiator and Lambeau Field (both from L'Outrance) and the Tri-City Off-Road Arena (ADQ 5/3).

This is a good one too - works fine WITHOUT helicopters. :-)

I've also run events in the Emporer's Garden - not an official product, so not sure if the mods will let it even be mentioned - can send you a copy.

Has rocks, trees and is on sand - not 'full blown' off road like Ozark (I really like that one, but it's a biggie, if you only have a few people - works good as a death race track too!).

Ha. I love that Jimmy is on notice, but has traditionally been the one I've seen post the most Warehouse23 links for folk to go and buy. Even when I would ask for a rule quote in a private email, he'd still send the W23 link.

But YES, some of those boat and tank and chopper maps are GREAT for off-roading. Water depths, gullies depth, etc., can sometimes be too rough for off-road cars, but you can change any values you need to make the map terrain work better for you.

On vacation, so lacking my usual resources For exact references, but there was one in the Arena Book too. I want to say it was something like Oriole Beach.

There was also the Iron Horse (I think that's right) ice Arena in ADQ 5/3. And there was a mention that Harshman was being refurbished as an off-road arena somewhere - RASG Volume 2 I think.

Only thing I can figure out is there was a post deleted a couple of months back where someone asked about the Vassal mod for Car Wars. I mentioned that it was officially pulled but still floating around the 'net and that TTS has a mod too.

That's the ONLY thing I can figure out. I'm not pushing for banning on purpose or anything like that, but I figure if I can't speak candidly here then what's the point?

If someone knows something different... Please - let me know! I've been a proponent of this game for AGES (I think everyone that knows me knows that, and especially the players I've hosted games for - up to number 52 now!) so I can't figure it out.

Merry Christmas everyone! May your VMG's be merry and your lasers be bright!
