I saw this at FnordCon. It was very impressive.

It also channels elements of the former Heroscape game for me.

These images are incredible! Attention to detail and passion for the craft shine through on these. And as the previous poster mentioned, this multi-level hex terrain echoes of HeroScape (although in our household, it's not "the former HeroScape").

HeroScape Tiles are perfect for playing TFT if using miniatures, and even 6th edition scale Ogre/GEV maps are too. Just, when converting to tactical scale, city hexes become building hexes.

I don't hve the patience, money, or space to get into miniatures, but I did design a few game boards for TFT. My wife and I already played two adventures on this board, which is on the 1" hex scale. I call it, "Fantasy Tactical Arena A1" and it measures 27" x 18":

This one just arrived yesterday and we haven't had the chance to use it yet. It represents a floor of a tower; the board can be reused to represent every floor of the tower. This one has large 1.5" hexes for use with the Legacy Edition. It's called "Fantasy Tactical Dungeon D1" and measures 18" square:

The Fantasy Trip helps unleash one's creative ideas with more facility than any other RPG!

I love it. I haven't the room or inclination to make one for myself, but I do love it. :)

The terrain takes a lot of work . . . and is worth the effort. The game takes on a new feel once you can get an attractive set in place.
