Happy Birthday SJGames/Templars
On October 31, 1310, 60 Templars rode into Yrth. Then exactly 700 years later, Steve Jackson Games celebrates its birthday. Coincidence?
By the way, maybe I'm posting this in the wrong place, but in today's Daily Illuminator it says the Big Party will be Sunday, October 31, 2010, but not where. Or did I miss it? I'd also like to say Happy Birthday to Janael Maluveal, an elf who was born the day the Templars came and who has now reached the Yrth elves all-important 700th birthday. It's hard to believe I've been playing GURPS for 700 years. |

It's at Tribe, a local game/comic store in Austin.

I checked and Tribe is mentioned in the DI and the links work. Please try again.

The post for today, Oct. 29, says where the party will be. The one that was current when I posted was for Oct. 28, and said then and currently says, "Certainly you've heard of the big Munchkin / Steve Jackson Games Anniversary / Tribe Anniversary Party...." It didn't say if the party would be at Tribe, SJGames headquarters, Munchkin Land, or somewhere else. I had tried the link several times and it didn't work, but it does now. Perhaps Tribe was having temporary problems with their website, or maybe my computer was temporarily invaded by a tribe of munchkins.
