Default GM Screen Art

What I've seen on the Kickstarter page looks pretty cool. Tough to beat an octopus necromancer.

I think it is some of the best TFT style art I have seen so far. More of that, please. A dangerous foe indeed! :) I remember the skeletons in DT2?, and the octopus, but he wasn't a wiz...

Yep, there are a pair of Octopi in DT2 but they don't use magic.

This image just might be foreshadowing of an adventure to come.

Woot! Now that's an adventure I'd buy!!!

(Thought experiment; since Octopi lack an internal skeletal structure, is it more difficult for them to learn to call up skeletons than for other necromancers?)

I hear they prefer giant zombie crabs, which smell dreadful...

Mystery, Suspense, and Impending Doom... *this one* says TFT to me - absolutely fantastic color selection by the artist.

The octopus wizard art is definitely my favorite - now THAT is good TFT art!

Of course, especially since it's the most striking and interesting piece, it's going to make players expect there to be Octopi, and Octopi wizards...

The proof for the Death Test 2 art, with the super-arms super-shortsword Roman guy, seems like it really needs some work. It also really flies in the face of TFT's "shortsword is ST 11 and always does 2d-1" thing - so the fellow's exaggerated proportions aren't doing him any good. Maybe he's under the effect of a +10 ST Aid spell. ;-)

Yeah, keep it coming with the acid-trip lunacy.

Yes, and perhaps a Flying spell, too! This particular illustration does not rise to level of the Octopus necromancer image. The use of a wolf as a nod the original DT2 cover is a nice idea, though.
