Thank you Munchkin! OGRE 6e is on Kickstarter
I'm an OGRE fan just popping in to say thanks!
Whatever your opinion, Munchkin pays the bills. It's the life blood of SJGames and ultimately has made OGRE 6e possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Are we going to get a Munckin Ogre card out of this kickstarter?
Bad Stuff: You die. Your corpse is irradiated, too, which doesn't help any.

Re: Thank you Munchkin! OGRE 6e is on Kickstarter
I'll add to that vote of thanks. Munchkin is a fine game in its own right, but I'm really an SJG customer because of GURPS and the old games, such as Ogre and Illuminati. So I'm very pleased that Ogre is about to get a deluxe treatment, and I happily thank the Munchkin fan base for spending the money to make it possible.

Re: Thank you Munchkin! OGRE 6e is on Kickstarter
I'd also like to thank all the fans of Munchkin for the fact that their devotion to their game has allowed a GREAT edition of MY game to be reprinted.
I've played Ogre since the first edition. Loved it when GEV came out! Got all the supplements, got most of the reprints. Got Ogre Miniatures even though I don't have any miniatures. [I even purchased GURPS Ogre, but I don't admit that to just anybody . . . ] Also have enjoyed Car Wars in the early years and Killer (remember that one?). Really enjoyed The Space Gamer when Evil Stevie took it over, and was quite sad when it finally went the way of all paper gaming magazines. I've never had the chance to actually play Munchkin, but I had to get the Munchkin Cthulhu material, since I've been a fan of HPL since grade school! But I would (hint, hint) like to somehow purchase a one-off, single card for Munchkin if it were somehow Ogre-related! Hee, hee . . . I've played Ogre more times than any other wargame and have played it LONGER than any other wargame. So thank you very, very much for the opportunity to play it again in a new format and with updated rules. May Munchkin last as long and be as much fun for you as Ogre has for me. -- Doug Pearson

Re: Thank you Munchkin! OGRE 6e is on Kickstarter
I started with Car Wars, and added Ogre pretty soon afterwards, back in High School. I've played Munchkin since it came out, but always wanted to see Ogre make a resurgence. Now it is, thanks to Munchkin's success, and so I raise a glass to BOTH fan bases, since without both of you this would never have happened.
Plus, as a MIB, I'm REALLY looking forward to running Ogre 6e games when it's available, and getting a whole new generation of gamers into it.

Ogre is already a Star Munchkin monster, FYI.

Re: Thank you Munchkin! OGRE 6e is on Kickstarter
Well, Awful Green Thing, from Star Munchkin, was made into a promo card to help promote the game, with Fantasy back and new art. Maybe the same thing happens to OGRE...
