Nobody conducts weightlifting trials while shooting at the participants (well Uday Hussein may have).

This isn't strictly realistic as people break knuckles on skulls, might be worth a house rule.
Martial Arts has a rule for hurting yourself by hitting the skull

Strength is far more equatable to reality than any other stat, but that does not make it very equatable all things considered.
When you say you lifted him to chest hight do you mean he was lying down and you stooped down, picked him up and lifted his entire body to your chest height. Or do you mean he was standing and you walked up to him put your arms around him leaned back and lifted him off his feet and his upper torso was resting on your chest?

(don't get me wrong the latter is still impressive but the former would be amazing as humans are harder to lift than equivalent weights loaded on bars or gym equipment)

They're still pretty impressive! 400lb would put them at the heavy end of WSM competitors and you say they're not the biggest in you gym?

Only if you equate dumbbell bicep curls to one handed overhead lifts. (and he's doing so without benefit of training and effort*)

also isn't a 5'6" version of Wolverine...just Wolverine ;-)

*although yeah again I agree the GURPS EE system doesn't really work for activity that falls between "I can do this every 2 seconds all day without stopping" and "I burn a FP every rep". Usual provisos regarding trying to model very specific RL activities that aren't GURPS' main focus and the application of common sense apply.
