A good option might be to re-release the 5 books in a slip-case rather than the full box set.

We have no plans to change the format. The box set, if the upcoming Monsters 2 Kickstarter campaign is successful, will be reprinted.

I've printed my DF books into 5 book volumes.

I've strongly considered printing a DFRPG Players book which would include Adventurers, Exploits, and Spells in one tome to have as an additional resource at the table.
My current group has at least three copies of the box set so we're at no shortage (and I often just use my tablet), but at conventions, an extra copy of those books would be useful.

I agree very strongly with the relevance of such a player-facing product, both physical and digital. I understand why a physical version may not currently be feasible.

It makes little sense to be unable to purchase information needed by players without purchasing information forbidden to players at the same time. Especially if that information is already in separate files or books.

EDIT: Hardback or whatever doesn’t strike me as especially essential or even preferable.

"As requested by GURPS fans," the new DFRPG Monsters 2 Kickstarter includes a $30 add-on for a printed copy of both Adventurers and Spells.

I'm in for at least one copy of this bundle myself!

Thanks! It was a reasonable request that we could fulfill without too much difficulty, so we thought it best to give everyone the option.

Any possibility for the Player Bundle getting split out for seperate sales after the KS? Possibly as pdfs?

If the campaign succeeds, we'll offer any remaining copies of the bundle for sale on Warehouse 23.

I really liked this too. I picked up another set of the player books for my group. Thanks for doing this!

Another question: Is the DFRPG core box going to get any distribution? I know that it’s being done under the Warehouse23 account and that’s supposed to be for products being sold directly by SJ Games, but I have a player in my group that doesn’t buy things outside of the FLGS. If this isn’t going to be sold into the retail channel, I want to let him know so he can back the KS.
