Default Doing bad stuff to a dead guy...?

Hi it might say somewhere in the rules but i couldn't find it when i was looking..
When you face 2 monsters and you die(by failing to run away from the first one), will you then have to run away from the second one?
If not will the monster then just do the bad stuff to a dead guy?

For example, i know dying is rarely a lesser evil but just hear me out ;)
First of all i was lvl 9 and i had a silver piece that would let me run away from one monster...
I meet the Wright Brothers whose bad stuff is reducing me to level 1, but then my girlfriend threw in a wandering monster in the form of Tentacled demon whose bad stuff is death (probably a pretty horrible one as well)
I can't beat those guys so i try to run away, and as i said i had automatic ecape from one but i didn't wan't to use it.
Here i make a decision i first try the tentacled demon as dying is the lesser evil would that work?

If you are Dead, your turn is over immediately. You do not have to run from any remaining monsters.

The player gets to decide the order in which he is running from the monsters.

This can be done for strategic reasons such as you describe - using death from one monster to escape the bad stuff of the other monster.

However, IIRC you lose some levels from the Wright Brothers even if you successfully run away, and (again IIRC) this losing levels is a result of losing the combat not technically bad stuff. So it might be that even if you chose the tentacle demon first and died from it, you would still have to lose some levels from the Wright Brothers, although you would not be knocked down to 1.

Wight Brothers, not Wright. Please be precise when typing card names.

If you die, you do not suffer ANY negative effects from monsters you haven't yet tried to run away from.

I always try to Run-Away from the one that kills first. If I fail, I don't have to worry about the others. I once had 7 monsters to run from, after my helper was forced to leave the combat.

I chose the one that would kill me and when I rolled a 6, I played a loaded die and made sure I died. (I could have lost 3 levels otherwise). It was a better choice, for me.

Jan, there are no friends in Munchkin and Yes, they do that when they can. BUT only if I let my Dice cards into the game. I own and build most of the sets of Munchkin we play with. (insert evil laugh here).
