Default Giant Antimatter Space Buzzard

Care to guess it's stats?

Oh, and it's the size of a battleship.

This movie is a thing of joy forever. It includes lines like "That bird is extraterrestrial. It comes from outer space."

From the review:

Quote:
In the midst of this chaos, Mitch realizes that the bird must have come to Earth to nest. There cannot be any other reason that the GIANT ANTIMATTER SPACE BUZZARD flew millions of lightyears through the intergalactic void, other than to lay eggs.

From the review: Lotsa strength.

Lotsa levels of Flight(space Flight)

Several Levels of Flight(Winged)

Lotsa Levels of DR(Force Field) (Mitigator, Plot Device; Not while eating)

Sharp Beak

Sundry Advantages to survive in space (Resistance to radiation, Zero-G tolerance, doesn't breath, etc.)

Maybe Universal Digestion (What kind o' bird eats a train?)

Edit: Oh yes, and Vow: Travel Thousands of Light Years to lay eggs.

Let's not forget "Hates uppity teenagers" [-1] <-- there is a scene where some teens are out for a drive (even though there is a global "don't drive unless you absolutely have to or the giant bird will see you and eat you" alert). They lip off to the hero when he tries to tell them this may not be such a smart idea and drive away.

Sure enough, about 30 seconds later, the thing swoops out of the sky and slaughters the lot of them.

I love this movie. :)

Mark

P.S. Hey, what about this one?

Heh, The Giant Claw... It was years before I learned that this movie was NOT the American release version of Rodan :/ :)

Some kind of Affliction that reduces people to giggling fits would be appropriate.

What's the SM of a battleship?

The HMS Dreadnought, the first modern battleship, was some 160 meters (SM +12). It would, however, count as an 'elongated box', for +1 to SM, a total of SM+13.

EDIT: Some, of course, are much bigger.

Looking at the schematics on Wikipedia, I don't see why it should be considered an elongated box. It's length-to-beam ratio is at least that of a human's height-to-width. Wouldn't an elongated box be more like the shape of a mini-van?
