Re: [OOC] Dungeon Fantasy -- Gorefest Dungeon
It seems that way.
I'll try to get the fist new IC post up tonight. :)

Re: [OOC] Dungeon Fantasy -- Gorefest Dungeon
Okay, I'm going to take a bit of a break. Looks like I'm having a hard time trying to get this updated. Instead of rushing something out there, I'm going to let it come naturally. Don't want to keep you guys on the hook too long.
I'll let you all know when I'm ready in PM. If you're still interested in playing, great! If not, no hard feelings. Might be a week (I think I might have a lot of time Sunday), might be as long as a month. Either way, I'll PM you all. It's been a great game so far and I hope to continue it soon! -Stripe

I for one look forward to the continuation of this at some later date. Poor Jim scares off all the girls.

Re: [OOC] Dungeon Fantasy -- Gorefest Dungeon
Well, if for no other reason than that, I'll be sure and get my butt in gear and update it soon. XD
Like I say, I'm hoping Sunday, but I don't want to keep making deadlines and not keeping them. Might be a month. Might be tomorrow. Dunno. I'll PM everyone, though. :)

Re: [OOC] Dungeon Fantasy -- Gorefest Dungeon
I just read up on the game and while I'm sad I didn't get to keep playing, Jorek tackling the demon into the pit was pretty epic. Since I didn't do it myself, Jorek is still a character I hope to be able to play some day, but this version of Jorek had a really cool death scene. :)
Hope you guys have fun whenever you are able to start back up again! |

Re: [OOC] Dungeon Fantasy -- Gorefest Dungeon
Oh, I even left it open-ended enough that he might not be dead in anticipation that you could reprise your role if desired. The pit is actually a "warp" to another level of the dungeon, one of darkness and spiders. I imagined him landing on a huge spider web perhaps to be rescued from the snapping of salivating mandibles by PC's, or even NPC's.
However, if he did die, then yes, very epic -- right on par with Gandalf's "death" scene! :) As for me, work has been so crushing that there's no way I could have continued to GM a play-by-post game. It started really getting heavy a little after we first began the break. Not sure when it's going to let up. I'm working at the ranch though April, but after that will move to another state. Might pick up again sometime around May or even June.
