Yep. SJ's intimation that it might, in the final analysis, lose money mirrored some hints from Phil about the substantial costs, but the game will have a place of honor on my gaming table...actually, I might just slap some legs on it and use it as a gaming table.

My own deeply biased hope is that the lessons they've learned from Ogre will, among other things, help them ensure that the Car Wars project won't knock GURPS off the radar again.

  • PSI, our fulfillment agent for other distributor sales
What is a "flooring contract"? Does being a "fulfillment agent for other distributor sales" constitute shipping stuff to other distributors on behalf of SJG when its sold (after warehousing it until that point) or is it something else?

Which will combine with The Need for Steed and Munchkin Valhalla to produce horses with up to 16 legs.

Hum... the GURPS hardcover for 2013 that isn't Zombies is plausibly Discworld, since that is seeing progress with production. I'm not sure just how you'd do a hypothetical Munchkin Discworld, but it has obvious sales potential.

Interesting to see that "clear out the pipeline" isn't a priority this year.. does this mean that you've cleared it out already?

From the "Failures" section:

Our pipeline is still over-full.

So, no. Just not as big a priority as other stuff.

Munchkin Valhalla? I need to check the product page more often...

Not at all. We just know where to focus our efforts this year. And the pipeline will never be entirely cleared; things will just move along and new stuff will pop in as new ideas arise.

Think of it as a type of consignment arrangement.

As long as I am here I will continue to push to improve our profitability and sales. We will publish new titles as we have time, and we will do our best to make sure those titles meet Steve's quality expectations. We will not rush titles to market in an attempt to produce many different things in a year.
