[Powers] Melee Leech Contested by Will
Not sure how to go about this. Leech is uncontested as long as you remain in contact with the victim (unless you count the grappling as contestation). If we add Malediction, normally an enhancement, it turns into a contest where you must maintain contact and make a contested will roll.
Resisted by Will isn't exactly the same thing, since it's a resistance roll and not a quick contest. Is there a "Requires Quick Contest" limitation? I can't imagine it would be worth very much, but useful in some circumstances like this one. Thoughts and suggestions? |

Re: [Powers] Melee Leech Contested by Will
No, but there SHOULD BE!
I would use "Requires (Attribute) Roll" which is -10% for a DX, IQ, or HT roll; -5% for a Will or Per roll, and double those values for "contested" making it "Requires Contest of (Attribute)" -20% for a DX, IQ, or HT roll; -10% for a Will or Per roll Last edited by the_matrix_walker; 03-27-2013 at 01:17 AM. |

Thanks, that's not a bad idea. It sounds fair enough to be in the right ballpark as well.

There is.
"Requires (Attribute) Roll … If your ability dictates you not only to make an attribute roll, but also gives the subject a chance to resist it with a Quick Contest, add an additional -10%…" (GURPS Psionic Powers, p. 20). |

Re: [Powers] Melee Leech Contested by Will
So -20% for ST/DX/IQ/HT and -15% for Will/Per?
