Default DFRPG System Cheat Sheet

So, I'm looking at improving my system mastery, and am thinking about making a system cheat sheet. Any thoughts what I should be putting on this? My current list (I'm not ready to start just yet, I still have a bunch of schoolwork for a week) of what to throw on it goes something like:
  • Combat
  • Recovery & Healing
  • Sneaking & Spotting
  • Climbing & Falling
  • Swimming & Drowning
  • Breaking & Entering
  • Socializing
  • Traps
  • Magic

Plus having sections for Chasing & Fleeing and Outdoors for my own campaign, for which I use GURPS Action 2: Exploits and GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 16: Wilderness Adventures, respectively.

How in-depth should I be going with this? This is for my edification and maybe that of my players, and to speed play.

I'd look at the backs of the books. They have some pretty handy guides (except for the one that has a map on it, which has it's use).

If I could get those in PDF without the black borders, I might make an addendum to the GM screen.

My other suggestion is going through Exploits, which it looks like you did, and choose anything that isn't readily obvious but can be stated succinctly enough for limited space.

This is one of the best design decisions made for DFRPG. Last Saturday at our second session, I had the second set of books lying on the table face down so the players could refer to them during the game. It worked out great.

The gm screen is invaluable for this. It has all the charts on the backs of the books in one handy place.

Like the back of a book?

My limited experience is that a newbie could really use a magic cheat sheet when playing one of the spell caster PreGens.

Additionally, the combat stuff is spread out over the PreGen’s sheet, so a cheat sheet devoted to combat would be useful.

Rasputin, have you worked either of these up yet? My plan for convention games is to make up unique combat and magic cheat sheets to go with each PreGen. I’m hoping you’ve already done this for me. :)

If you want to personalize the cheat sheets, you could go through Exploits and all find all uses of each skill and then filter them out for each archetype.

I did a cheat sheet that way for After the End:

and oh hey, Harald387 and I put together a spreadsheet with the same stuff for DFRPG

One thing I think would be most useful would be a new spells flowchart. For Clerics and Druids everything is peachy, but for Wizards you run into the same old problem of sifting through the Spells book searching for the baseline spell options and their children. The list at the end is helpful but contains too much information to be used easily in this context.
