Re: [Basic] Advantage of the Week (#42): Double-Jointed, Flexibility
Chase Taylor in Jade Serenity has Flexible with a HT-resistable Aftermath (Moderate Pain).
So far, used only for squeezing through a narrow opening where a cellar door was stuck and one dramatic Jumping + Acrobatics + Climbing + Jumping + Acrobatics stunt where he had to do impressive gymnastics, swinging and vaulting by the arms to get from a lower floor balcony up to the balcony railing above and thence through a second floor window on a building some distance away. If Taylor's personal life and romantic prospects weren't tailor-made for dramatic disappointment and disaster, the fact that it can add +3 to his already ridiculous Erotic Art default might be more relevant. As it is, the odds are he won't be rolling against Erotic Art any time soon. It's fun to play a character with obscene Reaction bonuses who nevertheless is the further thing from Casanova imaginable.

I see these traits fairly often on characters. Currently in my Maddess Dossier game one of the chevals has Dambalah.

Re: [Basic] Advantage of the Week (#42): Double-Jointed, Flexibility
I always understood Flexible to be something that ordinary people could train/stretch their way to having, and double-jointed meant a genetic predisposition to be extremely flexible on top of training like a professional contortionist or someone with a connective tissue disorder that results in loose joints.
