GCA5 stuck

I have a DF character that is not working.

It loads but stops on "Assigning children..."

Any ideas what gives?

I can't think of any reason that it would get stuck there.

That bit of character loading is pretty much "all traits now exist, so I can tell all the parents what their children are" because until everything is loaded, you don't want anything to try referencing a child that may not exist yet

Anyway, I don't know what the issue may be.

I remembered that the process of adding the children to the parents triggers calculations for the related traits, also.

So it's possible that one of the children has a modifier or bonus or something that is technically illegal and that triggers an infinite loop.
