What products for a semi?
This past weekend was a convention, and talking to someone who hasn't played since the 80s about what was in print, various changes over the editions, etc, the subject wandered to articulated trucks...wherein I had the best bad idea since the idea to design and build a complete 3D arena using only rusty cabinet-door-making woodworking skills and $150-each 'home handyman' grade machinery.
Are Deluxe and Uncle All's Catalog from [fnord] sufficient to build a semi for a "players on one team" scenario, or are there other PDFs I should also be looking at? The end goal is to end up building a juggernaut of a thing (which will be nicknamed 'Ogre', because I'm a cheeky little [fnord] like that) that will pose a very real threat to, but ultimately be able to be taken down by, a small pack (4-6) of Division 20 or Division 25 cars working together.

I'm not looking to dominate the tournament circuit or anything, just duct-tape together enough smoke and mirrors to keep a few "played once or twice, or maybe not in 20 years" convention-goers glued to their seats for 3 1/2 to 4 hours, and get a few "I'm coming back to this convention because I want to play that again" ticket sales for the following year.

Page 81 of the Car Wars Compendium, 2nd Edition, has the big rig rules. In fact 2e has pretty much everything you need.

Don't forget all the tactical stuff for rigs that have been noted in these fora.
Big rigs can be disappointing if you forget all the things that make them special. Don't sell your juggernaut short ;) |

(Sorry, I'll see myself out) On a more serious note...not selling it short is why it might not debut until 2020, that gives me time to get friends together than blow it up a bunch of times before it ever sees a convention floor.
