That's funny, it's the same thing that happened to me. I saw my purchasing delay as a public service to make it easier for the next person to buy it. :-)

Yes, they are (Deerfield, north of Chicago). For those of us in the area, that post was dripping of sarcasm. :-)

I saw Spell Skool at my closest Walgreens today. I did not buy it yet, as I'm a bit short on cash at the moment, but I did hold it in my hands. Looks great, and I can't wait to buy a copy next week.

...okay, I went ahead and bought a copy. Katie's art is so cute it's killing me, and I love all the little jokes, puns, and references. This is a great set and I can't wait to play a few rounds.

Needs to be "lose an item worth at least 500 Gold" :-)

Reading thru the rules Spell Skool is clearly enough Munchkin for 8.4 out of 9.7 players. What about the other 5 3/4 of 11 2/3 players?

I was lucky to find Spell Skool ( and X-men tucked behind some other products) tonight! I checked five stores here in NYC and only the one had a game/toy section. We have a lot of other stores which I'm not sure if it's worth checking or not since they are NYC's staple Duane Reade which is now owned by Walgreens.

Interestingly the shelf sticker only said Grimm Tidings! Ha.

I have an Excel sheet with the card names. I noticed that the product page on sjgames.com doesn't have a card list link like many other Munchkin flavors. Would sharing my list help get the content page created? Or, are the card names a secret??

Congratulations, Andrew on development!

Sharing your list would not get that page up faster, but I do thank you for the reminder that we need to do that.

And thanks for the kind words - that set was pure fun to write and I'm so glad to see people enjoying it!
