Ogre Minis Set 2 KS
Since no one has mentioned it yet:
The announcement for the Ogre Miniatures Set 2 Kickstarter is in today's Illuminator. So who's getting what from this KS?

Re: Ogre Minis Set 2 KS
Ditto -- though likely not as many sets as Set One. I think at this point I have something like 12 or 13 sets coming from #1 -- so it'll likely be six sets from #2 -- and extra Ogres if they are offered like during Set #1.

Re: Ogre Minis Set 2 KS
Probably another 10 sets, like I did with set #1.
I’m going to need a bigger basement...

Six superheavy tanks? I had anticipated possibly four superheavies,
but six? That is icing on the cake... |

Re: Ogre Minis Set 2 KS
I'm glad to see the interest! Yes, we decided to forego the stretch goal game, and just jump straight to "here's a good force." With, yes, six superheavies. They're expensive but they sure are fun.
The molds are already made - we're just going to let you folks tell us, via KS,, how many to run. And of course we are *talking* about Set 3, but there is nothing to announce. I look forward to seeing pictures of painted Set 1 units when those start arriving! |

Re: Ogre Minis Set 2 KS
I'm hoping there's a "Many Minis" level like last time, so I can just add on to what I'm already getting. I'm especially looking forward to being able to use them with my kids (7 & almost 5 - the KS opens just before his birthday! :))

Re: Ogre Minis Set 2 KS
I have 9 full sets coming from Set 1 - two of each color plus a full GITD (defenders + Ogres) for my daughter. This one I'm gonna ease up on some - but one of each color, for sure.

Re: Ogre Minis Set 2 KS
Same for this. I got the 'Many Minis' level and plan on giving a set to each of my spawnlings, 2/3 of which are into the game. I would really like a matching hunter green and gitd set for this.

Re: Ogre Minis Set 2 KS
Mine are just now getting any significant exposure, partly from the new video game, as when ODE came out they were too young to participate without being (actually) destructive. But they've both expressed interest in various board games over the past year, and the younger one is finally settling down about destroying everything he touches, so I figure I can pull out one of my extra maps and the minis and use them for teaching. Plus, minis are a lot neater than flat cardboard counters :)
