Re: The Dragon Wizard
So Draconian, Great Voice, and Word of Command - Freeze.
How much falling damage can a dragon take before you can't find the heart? I'd suggest using Whisper instead, but the abuse with WOC-Kill is way too great.

Re: The Dragon Wizard
Does a dragon have to move its wings to fly?

Re: The Dragon Wizard
GM: "The sky is full of dragons that are all frozen in place."
Wiz: "Huh?" GM: "Their L/W ratio is far worse than gargoyles. So of course they levitate." BTW What would you expect from an online Dragon Safari game? (Death Test style programmed adventure that sets up combats for you to play offline?)

Re: The Dragon Wizard
Word of Command is a very powerful IQ 20 spell. I don't think using it on Dragons is the most impressive thing it can do, by far.
The 5/IQ per turn saving roll isn't liable to slow down a 7-hex (IQ 20) or greater dragon very long if at all, and may not even affect a 4-hex (IQ 16) dragon. |

Re: The Dragon Wizard
I'm thinking programmed adventures are nicest when they don't require a GM, and so might be better based on melee wizard rather than ITL.

It does make it a bit more complicated, and subject to ITL combat talent abuse (especially some of the old microquests that said to go ahead and use things from ITL but then used almost nothing from ITL themselves...). |
